Just need ONE more player for "Pay It Forward"
Isn't there ONE MORE BLOGGER out there who wants to get in on this fun???
What interested me about this fun giveaway is that no one is chosen by draw. Anyone who wishes to be a part of it and responds quickly, can be! It's kind of a nice way to pass along the fun of getting a surprise yourself and then having the joy of sending one along to someone else.
To the first 3 interested bloggers who respond that they would like to be a part of this, I will be sending something to each of them. You MUST leave me a comment on this post to let me know you are interested in joining. (Two people have already responded so now I only need YOU to leave a comment!)
I responded to Kathy's post. Now I hope you will respond to my post! Don't YOU want to play? The first three of you who leave a comment on this post at cozycottageblogspot.blogspot.com will get something from me in the mail.
Then those three bloggers who responded to me, promise to pass it along or "Pay It Forward" to the first three who respond to their post...and on and on it goes.
Your something can be anything you've made, bought, found or were given. Keeping in mind that it might be something you would like to receive.
If you want to join the fun...PLEASE leave a comment on this post and then copy/paste this information about the giveaway on your blog. Then send something to the first 3 bloggers who sign up on your post.

Recipe of the Week is back again!
After taking the summer off from posting my Recipe of the Week, I'm back! This recipe comes from a dear friend, Jan, in North Carolina......sounds wonderful and I can't wait to try it out!
BUFFALO WING CHICKEN DIP
2 large cans of chicken breast meat, drained and shredded
(or two large cooked chicken breast shredded) Costco, BJ's or Sam's Club size cans
Place in pie plate. Pour Buffalo Wing sauce over the chicken to coat it good.
Then place a layer of sour cream over the chicken and a layer of Mexican cheese to coat over the sour cream.
Place in preheated 350* oven for about 10-15 to melt the cheese and get it hot. Let rest about 5 minutes to cool a tad.
Have a large bag of Frieto-Lay Scoops on hand. Eat and enjoy.
Thanks Jan!

Things I want...........
I think from time to time I'll post about things that I find that I would love to have in my home. The 1929 Crane farm sink shown here is first on my list. Of course it doesn't help that we remodeled our kitchen a couple of years ago and my husband would disown me if I even mentioned reworking our new cabinets and countertop to fit that sink into our kitchen. So, if you are looking for a really nice old farm sink and live in the area go visit my friend Sue's eBay auction. Happy bidding!!!

What I've been doing........
As a sponsor for the 1st Annual Make Mine Pink Retreat, I have been a busy bee the past couple of days getting my swag bag gifts ready. I thought that stepping into a luxurious bath with soothing bath salts would be the perfect way to end a day at the retreat so I got busy making a special blend of White Tea with Honey Vanilla.
After the ingredients were blended, a generous scoop of luxurious bath salts was placed in individual plastic bags and sealed to keep the fragrance fresh.
Each bag was then placed in an envelope and the Cozy Cottage label was affixed.
Last of all, one of my business cards was placed atop each envelope and they were tied with raffia like little gifts. Here they are, all ready to be packed up and sent off to Pinque, Inc. for distribution in the retreat swag bags. Enjoy!

Vacationing in Maine
My vacation in Maine was too short this year....less than a week just isn't enough time to enjoy visiting with my friend Sue when we only get together in person once a year. But she has promised to visit me in Arkansas next year before the weather gets too hot.....sometime the end of May, so I am really excited about that!
We spent several nights at Sue's family's spot at the Walnut Grove Campground which is so nice and relaxing. It's quiet and peaceful out there and just what you would expect of a summer community. Sue and her mom prepared an awesome steak dinner for lunch....wish I had some of that steak right now!
The first day I was there we went to the annual Alfred Days celebration.....this year celebrated the 200th birthday of Alfred, Maine. Here are a few pictures I took of the parade.
The next day we drove to Old Orchard Beach which was absolutely beautiful! We had reserved a room in the Nautilus by the Sea bed and breakfast and it was just as lovely as the brochure showed it to be.
Sue and I had the middle room on the third floor and we could actually see the beach and the waves coming in from our beds which was really cool! The furnishings were very nice and included lots of pretty old antique pieces. I will definitely try to book a room for a couple of nights again next summer. Here are a few pictures I took while we were at the Nautilus.
The next day before we headed back to camp, we drove down to the marina at Old Orchard Beach which was very picturesque.
On Tuesday, my last day of vacation, two of our good online friends drove down to visit us and we spent the day antiquing in the Wells, Maine, area......that's also where my favorite place to eat is located....The Maine Diner, which is DE-LISH! We had a really good time visiting with our friends and they treated us to a seafood dinner at the end of the day which was really nice. Along the way, Sue and I enjoyed the old hats in one of the shops....aren't we gorgeous?
Then finally, the next day, it was time for me to fly back home. And that is another story for another time.....
Thanks so much, (((Sue))), for another wonderful vacation!
I've been tagged!
I was just tagged by Andrea of Faded Plains (one of my favorite online shops!). The rules are to list seven random and/or strange things about yourself and then tag four more people so here goes:
7. My 2nd toe is longer than the rest.
6. I part my hair on the right side (most people part on the left).
5. I love those 50's pink flamingo yard decorations.
4. I have a certain way of stacking my dishes in the cabinets.....most of my family won't even attempt putting away the dishes now...LOL.
3. I drive 100 miles each way to work.
2. One of my ears is a tiny bit higher than the other.
1. I like vanilla much better than chocolate.
So now it's time to tag four other blogs and I choose:
Francie at The Scented Cottage
Sharon at C'est Chouette's Pillow Talk
Debra at Lilli Blue's Vintage Rescues
Katie at Hummingbird Chats
