Show and Tell Monday

This was a fun little project! I found the box when I was thrifting in Oklahoma City a few weeks ago. It was already painted and crackled but had a business logo on all four sides. So, I found some pretty paper with roses and a vintage look and made a border for the outside edge of the box. Then I trimmed it with lots of buttons from my button box. It measures about 7x12 inches......what would you use this for? You can see that Beau also gave it his "sniff of approval" when I finished.

I love that box. I would use it to put little jars of things like buttons, pins, etc on my sewing table. That way they would all stay put together. Very cute!

I would think it would be neat in the bathroom with extra TP, some pretty soaps, and hand towels. Love it! Gave me a neat idea!

Debbie, I love that box! I would find several uses for it, but firstly I would put laces wrapped on cards standing in the box. Such a pretty display that would make.

Hi Debbie,
Love tht box. It would look great with a little vignette of potpourri, a floating flower in a pretty dish, and trinkets. Great in a powder room with guest soaps and hand towels. Great as an office or workshop organizer. Little pots of herbs or small plants would look great in it anywhere.

Cute caddy, I think it would be great for napkins and cutlery.

I would use that beauty to keep near me for mail, snippets of this and that, scissors, and just keep it near to admire and bring me joy. Nice!!

Debbie,
Don't you love getting buttons out to create with. That box is lovely, and so retro looking. In fact, it would be cute to use as a button organizer with baby food jars to store the little buttons in. Woohoo....

Hi Debbie,

What a sweet box. I just love what you did with it. Adding the buttons gave it such a special touch and look. You can keep ribbons or small things like pins and things for sewing. I'm sure you will put it to good use. Very pretty Debbie. Can't wait to see what you create for next weeks Show and Tell.

You did a great job on the box. It would make a nice carrier for a small project. I always have projects in baskets and such so when I'm on the phone, or watching TV I have something to do with my hands. I like having works in progress as part of the decor.
