Show and Tell Monday

Before I get down to business, I want to share a couple of pictures of Beau....it's been awhile since I've featured him and he has a new trick up his sleeve.....Beau is really doing a good job of getting his "Mommy and Daddy" trained to his liking. As you can see in the photos below, Beau is enjoying the new look in our bedroom too!

Next, I want to tell you about the Holiday Shopping venues that Cozy Cottage is participating in. First is the Make Mine Pink Twelve Days of Christmas Shop-Hop, running from November 2nd-13th. There will be prizes daily! If you're registered and have found at least one tree, you are eligible to win prizes each day! Winning a daily prize will not exclude you from winning the grand prizes.

I am also participating in the Vintage Indie Market-Holiday Edition which runs from Nov. 1st through Dec. 31st. You can find Cozy Cottage in the "shabby cottage shops" section.

I hope you will stop by both of these shopping venues and spend some time looking at the beautiful items that I have created for this holiday season. Be sure to also visit the other participating boutiques......you may just find that shopping from the comfort and privacy of your home will leave you with much more energy to enjoy all of the other holiday events waiting for you this year!

Where's the puppy?

Can you spot Beau snuggled into this load of laundry I just took out of the dryer? He just loves the warm clothes and towels and had burrowed under them....I found him when I lifted up a towel to fold it!

Our Newest Family Member.......Beau

Hi everyone.....meet Beau, the newest little boy in our family! Doesn't he look sweet? My husband calls him our "miracle dog". Beau was abandoned about half a mile from our house and came to us one afternoon about a month ago covered in ticks and fleas and very, very hungry. I called the nearby neighbors to be sure he didn't belong to anyone and after no one claimed him he became our little boy. He immediately got a good bath and annointed with tick drops and a flea collar and has been my little shadow every since. I took him in to the vet for a check over and found out he is about 6 months old and a full-blood Jack Russell terrier. Beau is very well-mannered and is already housebroken and has claimed his spot on the foot of the recliner or the bed (when he isn't IN the bed, completely under the covers and at the foot of the bed). As you can see in these photos, Beau was very lucky to find a family to love him.
